Q: How do I watch a streamed video?

A:

Streaming video is content sent in compressed form over the Internet and to be viewed in real time. You can use the SearchGateway (Library Catalogue) to search for videos by title or keyword, then access a streamed video by choosing the 'View It' tab and clicking on the highlighted link.

If you are off campus you will need to login with your zID before searching the SearchGateway.

Streaming videos can be watched on most of the networked computers and mobile devices. If you have difficulty viewing content on your mobile device, you may need to try a different device. Our Find Streaming Videos guide provides more information on licensed and free video resources relevant to each schools in the Academy.
